If you defeat them, it shoudnt be "yay no more 'nids this game", more like "aah finally.now ive got some timespan till the next hive fleet" -maybe having a hive fleet invasion every 100 or so years on the EU IV timescale-, that is if you are playing as the imperium of course, since every single hive fleet would with all certainty attack your planets since you are everywhere. mid and end game events should be of upcoming hive fleets into the galaxy which starts at war with every single nation and without the possibility to make peace (cause obviously). As for the tyranids, they should be super OP but very possible to defeat, not the tyranids RACE, but their respective Hive fleets. That way, if you are a space marines chapter, you cant just go out and killing everything without the support of other chapters and of the imperium guard, but since those are played by the AI, you know you'll have to sit tight and just help them on whatever shit they are doing, which for me would be quite awesome nevertheless (while also protecting your homeworld and sector against orks and dark eldar raids, tyranids if you are in a hive fleet route, tau expansionism if you are close, necrons if you by chance are in a tomb world etc etc etc)Īnd the tau are small by area yeah, but i mean, on that map they have got 25 planets (or if its sectors, even more!), and the farsight enclaves arent explored so they could have a lot more. They should be a satellite of the imperium. Like ive said before, the best way to balance it out IMO is to make the imperium player only having control of the imperium worlds and not of the space marines and etc. They probably would prefer to expand and purge the xenos for the emperor. And I don't know if people want to start by playing a crumbling empire. If we have everyone we probably need to model systems like corruption which explain why the imperium can be so big but not just instantly killing everyone. I would have to thjnk that would be less challenging that making the entire map. It allows you to keep the asymetrical start as well. It allows a more focused narrative where fun is the focal point.

Alliances are made and broken in this region of space for the benefit of those currently there. Would it be fun to be winning a war against them then their army strength goes up by a absurd amount? Like if we allowed the necron to wake or for the real tyranid fleet to arrive. Accurate models could take away some of the fun. Most of the galaxy has been explored already. Like the Tau are very~ weak compare to the others. This helps to ensure that they nobles stay loyal, and are not lead down the path of heresy.I think if it's the whole galaxy then it creates problematic situations. They live with and help raise the children of Imperial nobles. Orders Famulous Believe it or not perhaps the most powerful and important group. They are some of the few people allowed to study xenos texts, because they are considered pure enough to not be corrupted. Orders Dialogous They study languages and so forth. Funded by the church they are probably the best equipped too. Probably the only galactic medical organization in the Imperium. Orders Hospitaller: They know a lot about medicine, and so forth. There's also a lot more of them then there are space marines. They are well trained, and very well equipped because the church is the wealthiest organization in the galaxy. Some Sisters might have cybernetic enhancements, but its not standard. Only the space marines get the geneseed enhancements. They do not have standard enhancements, to answer that question. They are the militant arm of the church, and are often called on by Puritan Inquisitors for their skills. Orders Militant: This is the one that everyone focuses on, because they are the ones who wear power armor, carry bolters, and fight. The females who show the right aptatude are often sent to join one of the branches of the Sisterhood. Usually they are selected from the Sholastica prodagenia, which are the schools for the orphans of Imperial heroes (Of which there are many). The Adepta Sororitas are not created so much as trained.

I'll summerize some of it for you to answer your questions -) The 3rd edition Witch Hunter's codex has some of the best art and fluff in my opinion. Do they have enhancements? I know women can't be turned into Space Marines due to the procedure only syncing with the Y chromosome or some sh*t like that but do they have anything else? Or are they just really well trained? I'm just curious as to how they're created. Do you have any info on the Sisters Of Battle? Witchunters is basically the only Codex in 40k I haven't read lol.
